Gilbraltar
| Gibraltar was established in 1837 by the Gibralter and Flat Rock Co., became a village in 1954 and city in 1961. The spelling of the name was Gibralter until 1900 when it was changed to the current spelling. During the War of 1812, the Battle of Brownstown was fought here. |
